The book really made me think about the families of murderers and rapist, or even other people who's done something bad in life and have been blamed for it. Most times the only person who does something is the offender and most times like in the book the family and friends of the person do not have a clue about what’s going on. The only person who did something bad in the book was Gav, he murdered and raped five women. Then why do the people in the city blame his family for something they had no clue about. Nobody forces a criminal to rape or kill someone, they do it with their own will. It’s exactly like rasism, we blame not only the person who did the wrong thing but also the family or the people of ”the same kind” like the criminal. Gav’s family had nothing to do with the murderers, so why drag everyone over an edge when in fact they were very good people. We often jump to conclusions and without knowing much about others beside the criminal we judge the entire group, family or race. It’s awful and it has to stop!

Mrs Parish or earlier Mrs Ward, Glen’s mother is a woman around her 40 i believe. The whole situation has been really hard on her and I bet she hates all of it. With all of the media chasing her and her family it must be ever worse. The media does not really care about her feelings of Mrs Parish but only about the attention the papers she writes for gets. I bet Mrs Parish was a happy woman with barely any problems, but when Gav got blamed for the murders and rapes her live must have turn up side down. She seems like a very put together woman and this whole situation must be hell for her.

Summarizer

Glen and his classmates travel to the city glen and his family escaped from. They visit a museum where this one girl recognizes glen and calls minnie cooper, the journalist. Minnie get’s to the museum quick pretending to be a visitor at the museum. 

The same night glen and his classmates are outside playing in the snow. Glen finds Minnie Cooper freezing outside and helps her to get warm. Later they go to the hospital to get help and Minnie tells Glen that she will no longer continue her story about glens brother who killed and raped 5 girls but will instead write a story about the brave boy who saved her life.

Miley Cyrus Concert

In the end of May this year me and my best friend Clara took the train down to Stockholm to go and watch a Miley Cyrus concert. She is probably the most controversial celebrity of the year but most of her songs are great. 

We took the subway down to Globen where the concert was about two hours before it actually started and stood in the massive que for about 45 minutes before we finally came inside. There were screaming teens everywhere and it was quite overwhelming but the vibe was great. When Miley came out on stage everyone went even more crazy and all you could hear was screams. 

Every performance she did on stage that evening was great, the background dancers were crazy and everyone there seemed to have such a great time. 

My favorite part was at the end when we allt thought it was over and the arena got quiet. Suddenly the music came back on and Miley started to sing one of her oldest songs. Once again everyone started screaming like crazy and we all sang along to the lyrics of the song. 

When me and Clara got back to out hotel we were tired and hade basically no voices left. But we had a really good time at the crazy Miley Cyrus concert and it’s definitely something I will remember forever. 

The Island

I chose to write about these topics:

For what reason do you think Doctor Merrick’s decided to start the facility? What do you think The Island is really saying about the human cloning? Are you surprised by this is a Hollywood film?

What is the message of the film regarding the value of human life? How does this work with the fact that the film contains a lot of violence?

Nowadays people are all about the money. As soon as they find a opportunity to make it they will do whatever it takes to get rich and famous. I think that’s the first thought Doctor Merrick had while starting the facility. The second thought must have been the fear of death. The fact that we die is something we can’t stop or control, which scares a lot of people and sometimes makes them do weird and stupid stuff, exactly like money does. 

In the movie we hear the ”owner” of Lincoln six echo saying the price of getting a clone is 5 miljon dollars. It’s a lot of money which clearly shows us how much a human being is ready to spend for knowing he or she will live forever. Of course not everybody can afford that kind of investment and only very rich and famous people can buy themselves a clone. The fact that this is a hollywood movie doesn’t surprise me at all. For most people Doctor Merrick lives a perfect life with a perfect job which let’s him save lives everyday. That’s what usually caught’s the attention from people and makes them enjoy the movie. And that’s what makes the movie a perfect hollywood movie to earn money on. 

The movie shows us how much crazy things humans are ready to do just to know they will live forever. It shows us how every single human is so scared of death they will even kill other people to live. Which makes it funny how much violence there is in the movie. If life is so important to them, why are they ready to kill other people for in. My advice to these people and Doctor Merrick would be to use the huge amount of money they use to clone people to maybe save lives in a different way like making a better environment around them making people live longer naturally. Also, if they want to live they have to make peace and not kill so many people around. Because it’s not only them who are scared of the death.

Emma decides to talk to her teacher about it. She knows people will make fun of her because of that but she just can't stand it anymore. She is scared because she doesn't know if they are just joking about it or if they seriously are thinking about hurting her.  Either way, she couldn't handle it anymore.

- It was something you wanted to talk about Emma? Her teacher asked.
- Yeah, i've been recently getting those text from a anonymous person, Emma answered.
- What does those text's say? Do they threaten you? the teacher asked with a worried voice.
- Yes, it is text's like " we know were you live " and " we are going to hurt you ".
- You have to tell the police about this. They can actually hurt you, and we don't want that, the teacher quickly answered.
- Yeah, i guess so. But... Emma hesitated.
- No doubts, we are calling them right now! the teacher said strictly.

After school Emmas mum came and picked her up. They were on they way to the police station where Emma had to answer a few of questions about the text's.  About a hour later when Emma had answered all of the questions she gave her phone to the police officer. Finally she would get to know who was sending those horrible text's.

She waited for about half an hour at the police station but it was worth it, because now she knew who was sending those texts. It was Rachels current best friend and her name was Maddie. The police had already called her parents and their school. But Emma knew what she had to do. She had to call Rachel.

As soon as she got her phone back from the police she saw a bunch of text's from Rachel. She started to read all of them.
" I am so sorry, I did not knew Maddie was the one sending those text's i swear! "
" Please call me when you see this, I am so sorry "
" I was such a bad friend, will you ever forgive me? "

Emma's mum told her that they were allowed to go home now. So Emma took her things and walked to the car. She knew you had to drive pass Rachel's house to get home and asked her mum if she could drop her of there. Emma now knew she didn't had to worry about those text's anymore and also that she had her best friend back.

Mark was fifteen minutes early for his date. He was really nervous and didn’t want to keep Jessica waiting for him. He was dressed in a grey hoodie and jeans with a pair of red converse. 

After about 5 minutes he decides to sit down. He sends a text to Gary telling him about how nervous he is. Gary answers pretty quick telling him not to worry and that everything is going to be alright. 

A few minutes later Mark sees a girl with long blonde hair a bit away. She was wearing jean shorts and a tank top whit a quote on it. On her left shoulder there was a brown bag. It was Jessica and she was on her way to Mark.  They greeted each other and sat down at a table. 

After about 25 minutes Jessica had to go, her dance practice started in 5 minutes. She gave Mark a hug and looked at him.

- This was a lot of fun, we should do it again! Maybe on Wednesday? Jessica said.

- Yeah it was, and Wednesday sounds great! 

- Cool, see you at 1 pm here! Bye! 

- Sure, bye!

Jessica walked away and Mark just could not quit smiling. He was so happy!

Summary " Cool ! " : first part of the book

It was suturday morning when the phone rang. It was Robbies dad who wanated to talk with his mum. Robbies dog Lucky started barking soo his mum told him to take the dog for a walk. He opened the door and Lucky ran out. Normally Lucky always waited for Robbie  but the front gade was already open and he saw a cat soo he ran after it. Robbie laughed but then he saw a car, he screamed but it was too late! He saw Lucky dissapering under the weels but did not noticed the car that hit him. He were in the ambulance, he couldn’t moove or talk but hears everything they said. When Robbie were in the hospital his mum and little sister talked to him. His little sister even gave him her favorite toy. Also his dad came to visit him at the hospital.

Sammanfattning - The Empty School

The text i about a boy and two girls. One day they had a really long break between their lessons so they sat in the schoolyard. It was three o’clock and no one had rung the bell. Martin though it was wierd so he went inside to see why some one hasn’t rung the bell allready. When he went inside no one were there. He went outside and told it to his friends. All three of them went inside to look for the teachers. They looked for them everywhere but couldn’t find them. They didn’t knew what happend to the teachers.
